Description
Designed to work in conjunction with an existing flush mount; our pre-drilled and tapped Gimbal Mounts allow easy installation of Cannon, Fishlander, Big Jon, Scotty, Penn and Walker downriggers.

Our Traxstech 6" track can also be mounted in two different directions, parallel to the gunwale or parallel to the transom, on the top plate of the gimbal to give a wider range of use.

The uniqueness of adapting fishing equipment to a gimbal mount allows an easy installation. When not in use; it can be removed to return the boat to its original condition.

Please note, boats that are 30 feet and under are factory equipped with flush mounts that use a 30 deg. 1 1/2" dia. x 10 1/2" long tube gimble mount. This is the most popular in sizes on the market today.

Boats that are 30 feet and over tend to have the larger style flush mount that uses a 30 deg. 1 3/4" dia. x 13 1/2 long tube gimbal mount.

The Straight Gimbal Mount is used on boats with a narrow gunwale or transom.
Our STGM-100 is built to fit this mount.

A 25 deg. gimbal mount is also offered for factory installed flush mounts on the Boston Whaler boats.
