Q. What length/size of a mounting track should I mount on my boat?
A. The track is the least expensive item and it is easier to mount one longer track, rather than adding it in smaller sections down the road. IE: If you want to add another rod holder, net holder or adjustable cleat, with the longer track you are already set up for it. Just slide it in and go.
Q. Do the mounting tracks come with hardware to install them?
A. Yes. They come with stainless steel 1-3/4" long screws with lock washers, fender washers, and nuts.
Q. Is the price for two tracks? or one?
A. The price is for one track.
Q. Do Traxstech tracks come with end caps included?
A. No. We sell those separately. Part # is MTEC-2.
Q. How many T-Bolt mount brackets do I need for a 6" track?
A. You will need one bracket per set of mounting holes. Depending on what size of track you are trying to mount using our T-bolt brackets will determine how many sets you will need to purchase. MT-6 (6-inch mounting track ) requires 2 brackets / 1 sets of t-bolt brackets in the degree of your boats track system.

A. You will need one bracket per set of mounting holes. Depending on what size of track you are trying to mount using our Rail Mount Clamps will determine how many sets you will need to purchase. MT-6 (6-inch mounting track ) requires 2 clamps / 1 set of Rail Mount Clamps.

A. You will need one bracket per set of mounting holes. Depending on what size of track you are trying to mount using our ACB-250 will determine how many sets you will need to purchase. MT-6 ( 6 inch mounting track ) requires 2 ACB-250 Brackets / 1 set of ACB-250 Brackets.
Q. What is the minimum length of a track I can use to install my vertical trees to my boat?
A. We recommend using our MT-24 or larger tracks. The longer the track the more stability and strength you will have. Using a smaller length may cause your equipment to fail and the possibility of losing your valuable equipment to the bottom of a lake increases.

A. The longer the track the more stability and strength you will have. We recommend downriggers have the track that is installed directly to the gunnel. Using a smaller length may cause your equipment to fail and the possibility of losing your valuable equipment to the bottom of a lake increases.
Q. How many backer plates do I need for my 6" mounting track?
A. You would need one of our 6-BP. No other sizes will have the correct hole match up. You could use two 3-BP if you wished as well.
